11+ YRS OLD
Kinder Development: 11-12 year olds $550.00 NEW PROGRAM (age as of December 31, 2011) Registration Deadline: December 15, 2011 Sundays 9:30am – 3:00pm (13 weeks: January – March) REGISTER HERE
A new program for this season, Kinder Development is designed as a gradual step for skiers between E2 and other Kinder programs. Our Club philosophy is to develop skiers over many years realizing that each individual has their own pace and objectives. The commitment is similar to the E2 program with skiing on Sundays, with a few extra Saturdays over the season. The Kinder Development team will integrate frequently with the K1 team and train on their own as a group. Kinder Development skiers are eligible to enter NGSL and K1 races as they choose.
This program will focus on skill development and adaptation to a variety of free skiing and organized alpine racing. Kids will ski all over the mountain experiencing varied terrain including bumps, jumps, ski cross-like terrain, as well as skiing in customized race courses just for their skill levels. Skiers will have the added opportunity to travel (with coaches and parents) to neighboring ski hills for zone races. The goal of Kinder Development is to provide as many opportunities as possible for skiers to realize their greater potential and to experience the joy of skiing and fun competition.
Graduates of Kinder Development move on to K Stars or Kinder 1 (K1) or Kinder 2 (K2) Programs.
