At Vernon Ski Club, we are proud to have one of the strongest coaching teams in BC.  We recognize that in order to provide the best programs we must provide strong coaches at every level who challenge skiers in the right ways.

VSC has an outstanding race center and mountain, a strong culture of excellence where coaches develop professionally, and an inclusive community of skiers passionate about skiing and ski racing.

Successful candidates must:

  • Be 'Licenced' through Alpine Canada (ACA) for the current coaching year
  • Be passionate about skiing and ski racing
  • Enjoy working in the mountains with youth to improve their skiing skills and develop team culture
  • Seek professional development opportunities within Vernon Ski Club and BC Alpine

VSC Visually Impaired Guide Position

As part of our programming, we support both able bodied and para-athletes within the Vernon Ski Club. We are seeking a motivated individual to work with a U16 visually-impaired (VI) athlete as a guide while training and racing. The successful candidate can expect to spend time free skiing on all areas of the mountain, leading the VI athlete through training courses, and competing as a team in ski racing competitions. Strong ski skills are required, some race experience is an asset. No other experience is required as we will train you for this position.
